HPS lighting technology retains these advantages over most traditional light bulbs, but they have lost to LED High Bay Lighting in three ways. Industrial LED wall pack lighting and fluorescent lamps: Although less common, fluorescent lamps are sometimes used in a warehouse or industrial applications (mainly T12, T8 and T5 lamps). The advantages of fluorescent lamps include lower initial cost and relatively higher efficiency (especially compared to other conventional bulbs). Its shortcomings include the presence of toxic mercury (which requires a certain waste disposal procedure), a shortened service life during switching, and the need for ballast to stabilize the light.

What are the three main benefits of using LED lighting technology in all applications? As we all know, LED lighting technology has surpassed traditional lighting capabilities in many vital ways. In addition to the considerations discussed above, LED lighting has three general benefits that apply to all lighting applications.
Reduce maintenance requirements. As mentioned above, the life of an LED lamp is four to forty times that of many conventional bulbs. This means less lamp replacement wear. The light produced by LED lighting technology is also different from general fuel and filament lighting, which uses diodes. This means fewer moving parts need to be destroyed, so fewer parts need to be repaired or replaced. Maintenance is a particularly important consideration when it comes to industrial lighting or warehouse lighting. Wall pack lights usually have a high mounting height, which means that replacing the bulb usually requires at least one ladder and in some cases a special hydraulic lift. All of this is added in the form of maintenance, labor and equipment costs. The lifetime of industrial LED lighting means that fixtures need to be replaced much less often, which means your bottom line can be saved.
Improve the quality of lighting. When it comes to color rendering index (CRI), correlated color temperature (CCT), and foot candles LED lighting for wall pack lights typically scores higher in front-to-front comparisons than most other bulbs. CRI is a method of measuring the ability of light to display the actual color of an object compared to an ideal source (natural light). In non-technical terms, CCT usually describes the “light” emitted by a light bulb – is it warm (red) or cold (blue-white)? The foot-candle compares the amount of light from the light source with the amount of light that strikes the desired surface; they are a measure of efficiency.
